Attending

To attend the ALICE Workshop, we ask all interested individuals to fill out the application form. The workshop aims to bring together a balanced group of researchers at different career stages, from PhD candidates and postdocs to senior researchers.

Important dates:

• Workshop dates: January 31st to February 5th, 2027
• Deadline for applications: September 30th, 2026 (23:59 AoE)
• Notification of acceptance: October 10th, 2026

Attendance fee

• Shared twin room: NOK 9,000 – 11,000 per person
• Single room: NOK 12,000 – 14,000 per person

Final prices will be set as sponsorships are confirmed. The price will not exceed the upper end of these ranges.

What’s included

The full five-night stay at Dr. Holms Hotel in Geilo, from Sunday evening 31 January to Friday 5 February:

• Accommodation
• Breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee breaks every day
• Conference facilities for the whole week
• Free access to the hotel’s pool, sauna and spa area

For orientation, in-season stays at hotels in Norwegian ski destinations typically cost NOK 1,700 – 2,100 per person per night for a room with breakfast and dinner.
